An Update on Keurig-Compatible Pods

We want to share an important update about our Keurig-compatible pods.

After careful consideration, we have decided to discontinue producing Keurig-compatible pods altogether.

Over the years, many customers have enjoyed the convenience of pods, and we understand why they are appealing. However, producing pods at the quality level we expect has proven far more challenging in the past few years than we believe is acceptable. Most recently, a manufacturing defect in the pod lids caused sealing failures during shipping, leading to damaged pods and compromised freshness. While the cups themselves are manufactured by a third-party supplier, the finished product carries our name, and that responsibility is ours.

This was not the first time we have faced a manufacturing issue with pods, and the impact is especially serious when a customer’s first experience with our coffee is affected by packaging rather than the coffee itself. That is not how we want to introduce our brand.

Our philosophy is simple: if we cannot do something well, we do not want to do it at all. Whole bean and ground coffee allow us to control quality from roast to cup, and they consistently represent what we stand for as a roastery.

We know this decision may disappoint some customers, and we appreciate your understanding. Our focus remains on producing excellent coffee, packaged reliably, and delivered the way it was intended to be enjoyed.
